About Me

Hi, my name is Cara and I'm the owner and creator behind The Scented Storyteller.  I am a former elementary school librarian and mother of one, and live near the Outer Banks of NC.   

When I took a pause from teaching to be home with my child, I needed something to keep my mind and heart busy...what better way than to create and share those with the world, but it HAD to include books.  And Voila, the idea of the Scented Storyteller was born.
